Hiii! I'm Julia Johansson, an artist in my twenties from Sweden. Fresh out of a charming little artschool in Munka-Ljungby, I'm currently trying to get into one of Sweden's major art schools.
I was always creative from a young age, but mostly started focusing on photography in my teenage years. Then, around 2020, I fell in love with painting and started out doing a lot of abstract acrylic paintings. Now, I often have clearer motives in my work, such as portraits or other work that is just full of purples and pinks (I do rather enjoy the color purple).
My passion lies in vibrant colors and the joy they make me feel. In a world leaning more towards minimalism, I strive to create a splash of fun and vibrancy in our everyday lives. With all sorts of art like acrylic, oil paintings, and jewelry made with pearls from old necklaces that need some new life and not end up in the trash.
I’m currently based around Helsingborg.
About Me
Things I’m currently obsessed with
Everything from the most specific things, or inspo pictures, to broader themes. A lot of my art is inspired by my own fantasy world in which I’m writing books about.
