My biggest collection features delicate dried orchid flowers preserved in resin and transformed into necklaces, brooches, hair pins, earrings, rings, and keyrings. Each piece captures a little moment of nature.
Behind the scenes: Creating Orchid Jewelry
From fresh flowers to finished pieces.
I gently place each fresh orchid into silica gel crystals, where they dry over two weeks to preserve their shape and color.
Once dried, I coat each petal in multiple layers of UV resin. A slow, careful process that preserves them and gives a glass-like finish.
Finally, I assemble the jewelry by hand, stringing beads and wiring pendants to create one-of-a-kind jewelry.
